Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Voice2Pager^TM, a voicemail-to-text messaging service operated by PagersDirect^TM and PagersDirect.net. By signing up, accessing, or using Voice2Pager, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Service Description

Voice2Pager provides a dedicated telephone number that receives incoming voicemails, transcribes them using automated speech-to-text and optional translation, and delivers the resulting message to destinations you configure, such as a pager, pager application, text-capable device, or email address. We may add, remove, or change features from time to time.

2. Eligibility

The service is offered primarily to customers in the United States. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use Voice2Pager on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

3. Account Registration and Security

• You are responsible for providing accurate account information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and any other credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Free Trial and Paid Subscriptions

New customers may receive a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. At the end of the trial, the subscription automatically converts to the paid plan you selected unless you cancel. All fees are in U.S. dollars and charged in advance for each billing period.

PagersDirect customers who maintain a current and active alphanumeric pager subscription may receive a $10/month discount off the published Voice2Pager rates. This discount is applied at the account level and may be changed or discontinued if the qualifying pager service is cancelled.

5. Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation

• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time through the customer portal or by contacting support.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term unless otherwise stated.
• Refunds are not guaranteed; requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
• We may suspend or terminate service if payment cannot be collected.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Voice2Pager for any unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or harassing purpose. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:

• Sending spam, scams, or unsolicited bulk messages.
• Transmitting content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Using the service to impersonate another person or entity.
• Interfering with the service, networks, or other users.
• Any use that violates applicable laws or carrier regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Service Levels and Limitations

Voice2Pager uses automated transcription and may not capture every word accurately, especially in noisy environments, with poor audio quality, or with accented speech. Translations are provided as-is and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing important messages and should not rely solely on automated transcriptions for emergency, medical, or safety-critical communications. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by carriers, internet outages, destination device issues, or incorrect pager/app addresses.

8. Number Assignment and Release

Voice2Pager numbers are assigned from available inventory. We try to honor area-code requests but cannot guarantee a specific prefix or number. If your account is suspended or cancelled, your Voice2Pager number may be released after a hold period (typically 30 days). Once released, we cannot guarantee the same number can be restored.

9. Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Voice2Pager, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PagersDirect and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PagersDirect, its owners, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
